Fundamental principle

 MAX BAERMANN GmbH and its affiliated companies undertake to protect the privacy of their business partners when processing personal data.

This applies to any individual with whom MAX BAERMANN GmbH has a business relationship, in particular representatives and employees of customers, suppliers and service providers.

Likewise, we will only store and process personal data provided to us by those affected for specific purposes.

Information about the operation of our website

Each time you access content on the website, data is temporarily stored that may allow identification. The processing of the data is carried out on behalf of the customer. The following data is collected in this process:

  • Date and time of access
  • IP address and host name of the accessing computer
  • Website from which our website was accessed
  • Website accessed via our website
  • Visited page on our website
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Information about the type of browser and version operating system used

The data is processed on the basis of Art.6 para.1f GDPR. The temporary storage of the data is necessary for the course of a website visit in order to enable the delivery of the website. Further storage in log files takes place in order to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of the information-related systems. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

Collection of personal data

 We essentially collect personal data that you provide to us electronically, such as via e-mail or a contact form on our website. This data is deleted when it is no longer required for the performance of business processes (Art. 6 para.1 DGSVO) or is in the legitimate interest of the data subject.

The processing of personal data in the MAX BAERMANN GmbH

The scope and processing of personal data is based on the legitimate interest of MAX BAERMANN GmbH in carrying out its business operations (according to Art.6 GDPR). The collection and processing of personal data mainly concerns contact data, e.g. e-mail, telephone, address. Furthermore, sensitive data may also be stored if this is necessary for the preparation or execution of contracts. The type of data is determined by the tasks arising from business processes and contracts. These include:

  • Processing of purchase orders, deliveries or payments,
  • Quality assurance steps or in warranty instances
  • Drafting or replying to supply offer enquiries to determine conditions of the contractual relationship
  • Product development activities
  • Processing personal data within the company for internal administrative purposes, e.g. accounting and personnel matters
  • Ensuring IT security, maintaining IT operations and communication equipment
  • Deploying external service providers to support our business operations

MAX BAERMANN GmbH is subject to various legal obligations which may make it necessary for your personal data to be processed. These legal obligations may arise, for instance, from fiscal or commercial trade regulations.

Relaying personal data

Within the company only authorised employees of MAX BAERMANN GmbH have access to personal data. If it is absolutely necessary for the handling of business operations, we will pass on data, in particular to other companies in the Baermann Group. It may also be necessary to pass on this data to external service providers, e.g. forwarding agents or public authorities, e.g. customs (in accordance with Art. 28 Para. 3 and Art. 6 Para. 1). In addition, we may, to the extent legally permissible, transmit personal data to authorities for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations (Art.6 Para. 1 e).

 Deletion of personal data

 We comply with the legal requirements for the retention and deletion of data. If the purpose behind storing personal data is no longer on hand, we delete this data as far as possible immediately or after expiry of the statutory periods.

 

 

 

Third countries

Different data protection rules may apply in countries outside the EU. If we need to transfer personal data to third countries for the purpose of fulfilling business operations, we will do so with the greatest possible care. As far as possible, we conclude appropriate agreements with these data recipients which comply with the EU data protection standard.

Confidentiality and storage of data

Our employees and external service providers who have access to personal data are obliged to treat this data confidentially. In accordance with the legal provisions (including Art. 32, Para. 1), all technical and organisational measures are taken to protect this data.

Rights of those affected

  • You can request information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR about your personal data that we process.
  • For reasons arising from your particular situation, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in accordance with Article 21(1) GDPR.
  • If the data concerning you is not (or is no longer) accurate, you can request a correction in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR.
  • If your data is incomplete, you can request that it be completed.
  • You can demand the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.
  • According to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Wir setzen auf Grundlage unserer berechtigten Interessen (d.h. Interesse an der Analyse, Optimierung und wirtschaftlichem Betrieb unseres Onlineangebotes im Sinne des Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f. Wir setzen Google Analytics nur mit aktivierter IP-Anonymisierung ein. Das bedeutet, die IP-Adresse der Nutzer wird von Google innerhalb von Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union oder in anderen Vertragsstaaten des Abkommens über den Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum gekürzt. Nur in Ausnahmefällen wird die volle IP-Adresse an einen Server von Google in den USA übertragen und dort gekürzt.

Die von dem Browser des Nutzers übermittelte IP-Adresse wird nicht mit anderen Daten von Google zusammengeführt. Die Nutzer können die Speicherung der Cookies durch eine entsprechende Einstellung ihrer Browser-Software verhindern; die Nutzer können darüber hinaus die Erfassung der durch das Cookie erzeugten und auf ihre Nutzung des Onlineangebotes bezogenen Daten an Google sowie die Verarbeitung dieser Daten durch Google verhindern, indem sie das unter folgendem Link verfügbare Browser-Plugin herunterladen und installieren: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
